Harrah’s Resort Southern California came to us just 2.5 weeks prior to the Super Bowl. Through their local CBS partner, 5 commercial slots were available to the brand. With such a short window, we were put in the position to either go for it and commit to creating something or passing all together. With Mayor Hasselhoff’s term coming to a close, we leaned into the idea of creating a social campaign for the next Mayor of Funner, CA.


approach

Drawing inspiration from 80’s dating show videos, we threw everything out the window when it came to high quality cinema. Low-fi, 4:3 aspect ratio, bad crops… you name it. During a time when every brand is looking to break through, some with super glossy executions, we went against the grain, Funner style. In just 2 weeks, we executed the whole production in-house. A true testament to trusting your gut, getting scrappy, and delivering the vision from concept to completion.
